GRIEF MINISTRY The death of a loved one can be one of the hardest things that we experience in our lives. To help people find their way through the journey of grieving a loved one who has died, Our Lady of Fatima’s Bereavement Ministry is offering a six week support group on Wednesday evenings beginning October 26 from 6 pm—7:30 pm. In this group, members will join together to pray and share their experiences. Participants in this group in past sessions have experienced significant healing and peace. For more information or to sign up for this group, please call Joyce Teixeira at the parish office, 491-3468.
LEGION OF MARY Active members do weekly apostolate by visiting convalescent homes, giving Holy Communion, conducting post-baptismal visits, home visits, and assisting our priests at Mass at the convalescent homes. Once a week, they meet to pray, do spiritual reading, and report on the week. The Praesidium of the Legion of Mary of our Parish needs more active members to help our priests minister to the sick and physically impaired members of our parish. You are invited to come to our weekly meetings as a guest on Tuesday evenings at 6:15PM at the Parish Center to discover if you are being called to serve. For more information, call Tim Shipley at 229-3423.
LINEN MINISTRY A wonderful ministry of service in the parish is the Linen Ministry, which cares for the altar linens from each Mass. With over 12 weekly Masses celebrated, many hands are needed. Would you be willing to volunteer a few hours per month? Call Lisa Rego at 872-1995
IS GOD CALLING YOU TO BE A MUSIC MINISTER? Music Ministry is a great place for those who not only wish to sharpen their musical skills but also to gain valuable insights into worship through the many opportunities to praise and glorify God with song. Our parish is blessed to have many gifted singers who have not yet joined the choir, and this is may be the invitation you are waiting for. No special music background is required, just a heart that loves to worship Christ. New singers are always welcome! The Parish Choir is comprised of volunteer adult singers, open to those High School age and older. Rehearsals will begin August 31, 2017, and continue weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the M room of OLF School. This choir serves at the 10:00 am Sunday Mass as well as special Masses and liturgies throughout the year. If you are interested in sharing your voice, then come to a rehearsal, and there will be music already prepared for you.

SUNDAY PRESCHOOL Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God Belongs. Mark 10:14 Sunday school is a wonderful place for your child to experience God and learn about Jesus in a child-friendly and age-appropriate manner. Our classes follow the weekly scriptures with activities, readings and songs designed to help children learn about the Bible and God’s love for them. Childcare is available during the 10 am mass. Register your Kindergarten-age and younger children in the school K room on Sundays just before mass starts or pick up a registration form in the Parish office. We need volunteers to teach Sunday school or provide childcare for the little ones. We currently have 2 adult volunteers and need 2-3 more to be able to offer this every Sunday. Each week’s class comes with a lesson plan so you are not on your own! For more information on this joyous experience, contact Jena Roberts 521-1485 or Jena@Roberts5.net
